It is my hope and prayer that 2019 is an amazing year for you in every way possible! As I start this new year, I am so thankful for the many blessings in my life and in particular I am thankful for Villa des Parfums, which is not just our beautiful perfume brand, it’s first and foremost a place – it’s our home. This incredible Perfumer’s Mansion, built in 1830, so full of history, beauty and inspiration, not only provides our family with shelter (and a source of income through our vacation rental) but it has become a home and a safe haven to so many others too.

I recently read this beautiful blessing by John O’Donohue in the book ‘To Bless the Space Between Us’. His words capture perfectly everything that Vincent and I have always prayed, hoped and imagined for our home! Many have found a place to belong here, by the grace of God, may it continue to be so!

A home where patience of spirit is prized and the sight of the destination is never lost.
Though the journey might be difficult and slow, may there be great delight around this hearth.
May it also be a house of welcome for the broken and diminished.
May you have the eyes to see that no visitor arrives without a gift and no guest leaves without a blessing.”
